En er komen weer diverse verjaardagen aan! Ik ga niet zeggen dit keer voor wie deze kaarten zijn bestemd, want ik weet dat er meegekeken wordt ha ha ha! Ben ik weer! Zat een tijdje in het buitenland maar kan nu weer lekker bij iedereen langs komen en zelf nieuwe dingen maken! Allemaal onwijs bedankt voor alle geweldige reacties op mijn kerstkaarten in mijn vorige bericht. En nou de rest van de kaarten nog maken ha ha ha!!
Vandaag is mijn blog-vriendinnetje Naomi jarig en natuurlijk heb ik voor haar iets gemaakt. Had haar gevraagd welke stijl ze leuk vond en ze gaf aan 'into pink' te zijn en dress forms wel te zien zitten. Nou, hiermee ben ik voor haar aan de slag gegaan en dit is het geworden, hoop dat ze het leuk vindt!
I'm back again! Was abroad for a while but I'm now able again to come round to visit you girls and create new things myself! Thanks a bunch for the wonderful reactions to my Christmas cards in my last post. All I need to do now is to finish the rest of the Christmas cards, LOL!
Today my blog buddy Naomi is celebrating her birthday and of course I had to make her a little something. I asked her which theme or style she'd like to see and she told me she was quite into pink and dress forms. So I took it from there and this is what I came up with, hope she likes it!

 Foam rozen met parellint eromheen, een kanten roosje en oorbel vormen de versiering van de dress form die ik uit karton heb geknipt:

Foam roses with pearl ribbon around them, a lace rose and earring are the embellishments of this dress form which I cut out of card board:

Spreading Christmas Cheer

Het gaat nog allemaal niet zo snel met de kerstkaarten als ik zou willen, maar ik heb er toch weer 3 gemaakt. Gek misschien, maar dat is zo'n beetje het maximale aantal dat ik wil/kan maken van één en dezelfde kaart. Wil dan toch weer altijd iets anders maken, ben geen 'productiewerker' wat dat betreft ;-) Was dat maar zo! Heb deze in de vintage-stijl gehouden, met zo'n gezellig ouderwets poezieplaatje en een paar zwierige stanzen. Maak er allemaal een mooi weekend van en bedankt weer voor het langskomen, altijd gezellig om iets van jullie te horen!!
Things aren't going all that smooth when it comes to making Christmas cards, but at least I finished three more. This may sound crazy, but this is about the maximum number of the same cards I like to make. I always want to make something else, I'm no 'production worker' in that respect ;-) Wish I were though! Here's another vintage card, with one of those lovely old-fashioned images and a couple of swirly dies. Styles Change, Style Doesn't

We hadden weer zin in een swap en het thema van Steampunk is dit keer door Odetta bedacht. Wat is dit toch een aparte stijl, die prachtige Victoriaanse invloeden spreken me enorm aan! Ik heb gekozen voor een uitgeknipte hoge gepimpte hoed en vond het Graphic45 Steampunk Debutante papier hier buitengewoon geschikt voor. Heb een soort corsetje gemaakt en natuurlijk mogen de verschillende metaalelementen niet ontbreken! De opgerolde bloemen zijn gemaakt met de stans Spellbinders Spiral Blossom One die bij My Crafty Heart voor een hele scherpe prijs leverbaar is. Binnenin wat grote parels. Heb nog een vrouwenkopje uitgeknipt en in een brad geplaatst en voorzien van een laklaag (Glossy Accents (Ranger). De tekststempel is van Scrollswork.
We felt like another swap and the theme of Steampunk was set by Odetta this time. Oh, I just love this style, I'm really very partial to those fine Victorian influences! I made an embellished top hat which was cut by hand and used the most appropriate papers of Graphic 45 (Steampunk Debutante). I made a kind of corset and added all kinds of metal embellies. The rolled up flowers were made with the Spellbinders Spiral Blossom One die, which is available from My Crafty Heart at an extremely competitive price! Inside some huge pearls. I've also cut out a female head, placed it inside a brad and applied some Glossy Accents (Ranger) to it. The text stamp is from Scrollswork.
