De meesten van jullie zijn denk ik inmiddels al wel bekend met de prachtige afbeeldingen van Nicecrane Designs. Ignacio had me gevraagd om in het Design Team te komen, maar dat zou ik helaas qua tijd (andere DT's en werk) niet gaan redden. Zo lief, want ik mocht een 'permanente guest designer' zijn, wat betekent dat ik iets mag plaatsen wanneer ik wil. Ik kwam deze leuke pipowagen tegen op internet en zou 'm zó in de tuin willen zetten! Maar een miniatuurtje leek me ook wel grappig en heb hem dus in het klein gemaakt met het nieuwe papier van de Action:

Most of you will probably be familiar with the gorgeous images of Nicecrane Designs. I was invited by Ignacio to join the Design Team, but unfortunately I was unable to (due to other DTs and my job). And then Ignacio kindly allowed me to become a 'permanent guest designer', meaning that I can put up something whenever I like or have time. I came across this lovely 'caravan' on the internet and wouldn't mind having it in our backyard!  But I thought a miniature version would look cute, too, so I made a smaller version with new papers from Action:

Walk In Closet

Wat is het alweer een tijd geleden dat ik iets heb geplaatst! Maar de laatste tijd heb ik het ongelooflijk druk gehad met werken en kwam er van bloggen helaas niet veel. Gelukkig heb ik de meesten van jullie gisteravond al bezocht en heb ik weer lekker kunnen genieten van al het moois wat jullie hebben gemaakt! Hebben jullie zin om even m'n walk in closet in te duiken? Misschien zit er ook iets leuks van jullie gading bij? Alles is gemaakt met de mooie stansen van Poppystamps en Memory Box.
Gosh, it's been such a long time since I last posted something on my blog! But I've been so tremendously busy at work, so I simply didn't have time to blog. Fortunately I was able to visit most of you last night and I really enjoyed looking at all the lovely creations you've been making lately! En dan wil ik mijn blogvriendin Dawn van Paper Stamp Scissors nogmaals hartelijk bedanken voor de mooie stempel die ik bij haar heb gewonnen! Hij is superleuk!
And I'd also like to thank my blog buddy Dawn from Paper Stamp Scissors again for winning this wonderful stamp! It's supercute!

Let's Celebrate in Paris...

Rond deze tijd hebben wij het altijd enorm druk, iedereen vertrekt heerlijk op vakantie terwijl wij stevig aan de bak moeten, tja, moet je ook maar geen seizoensgebonden bedrijf beginnen ;-) Maar door al die drukte blijft er genoeg tijd over om te dagdromen, over Parijs bijvoorbeeld. Heel gek, maar rond juli/augustus krijg ik altijd zin om daarheen te gaan! Een heerlijke wandeling maken door het prachtige Bois de Boulogne, uiteraard eindigend met een verkwikkende witte wijn op zo'n überfrans terrasje, je kent het vast wel! En zo kwam ik op het idee voor deze verjaardagskaart voor blogvriendin Karin.
Around this time of the year we (i.e. my DH and I) are extremely hectic at work, people around us are all going away on holiday, whilst we're working our fingers to the bone, but hey, then we shouldn't have set up a company which is highly seasonal ;-) But despite all the stir and buzz there's enough time left for day dreaming, for instance about Paris. It's really funny, but in July/August I always fancy going there! Taking a wonderful stroll through the magnificent Bois de Boulogne and ending up on one of those superbly French terraces for a nice, invigorating dry white wine, you catch my drift! And thus the idea for this birthday card for blog buddy Karin was born:

 En als je dan uit wandelen gaat, trek je een paar mooie hakken aan, parelkettinkje om en flaneren maar ;-) Afijn, blijf je met je hakken steken in een Frans stokbrood, weg is al je elegantie! Het silhouette is uitgeknipt uit speciaal Scherenschnittepapier, de afbeelding is van Istockphoto.

And if you're going on a stroll, you put on a pair of nice high heels, don't forget your pearl necklace and enjoy your walk ;-) Of course I would get stuck in a French baguette with my heels, so much for elegance! I cut out the silhouette from special Schnerenschnitte paper, the image is from Istockphoto.

En dan is blogvriendinnetje Naomi onlangs bevallen van een prachtige dochter, luisterend naar de prachtige naam Alyssa! En om de geboorte van dit mooie kleine minimeisje te vieren, heb ik deze jurkjesslinger gemaakt aan de hand van het patroon van Stampington.

And some more good news: my blog buddy Naomi recently gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl, listening to the beautiful name of Alyssa! And in order to celebrate the birth of this pretty little mini woman, I have made this baby dress garland using the famous Stampington template.

Let's Raise The Roof!!

Ik was meteen wég van die schitterende Madison House Set van Poppystamps, een set van diverse stansen die je op allerlei manieren kunt gebruiken. Wij Nederlanders kennen allemaal de uitdrukking "uit je dak gaan" wel, nou, dat gaan we vandaag doen! Ik heb achterop mijn pop-up kaart een 'insteekkaart' gemaakt die je achter het dak vandaan kunt halen. Omdat het een pop-up kaart is, kan die gewoon plat in een envelop worden verzonden, ook altijd handig! Heb nog een glitterpaadje gemaakt "Ease on down the road, yeah yeah!", als je een feestje thuis hebt, moet je ook feestelijk aan komen! Nog een kraal geplakt in de hoek van m'n tuintje, dient meteen als bloempot: 

I was immediately smitten by the beautiful Madison House set of Poppystamps, a fabulous and very versatile set of several pieces. In my country the Netherlands, we have a very popular saying "Uit je dak gaan!", which means something like "Let's Raise The Roof!" So that's what we'll be doingtoday ;-) I added an extra insert roof on the back of my pop-up card which can be taken out. Of course this card can be sent in a standard envelope, since all the parts can be folded flat again. I added a bit of glitter on the path, "Ease on down the road, yeah yeah!", if you arrive at a party, a little touch of glamour doesn't hurt anyone ;-) A bead serves as a flower pot in the corner of the garden:

Butterflies are self-propelled flowers...

Vandaag begint de nieuwe uitdaging bij Vintage Udfordring; we willen heel graag jullie zomerse creaties met vlinders zien! En uiteraard in het vertrouwde vintage-stijltje ;-) Voor mijn kaart heb ik mijn favoriete zomerkleuren uit de kast getrokken, in de zomer draag ik nou eenmaal het allerliefste wit óf turquoise/zeegroen. En het was weer tijd voor de tweemaandelijkse swap tussen Odetta en mij. Odetta had het thema bedacht: een zomerse bloemengroet. Ben begonnen met het beinkten van een witte kaart met de kleur Glacier Ice van Color Box en heb daarna diverse stempels gezet met allerlei kleuren (Memento Toffee Crunch, Versa Magic Magic Mauve/Turquoise Gem). Een vlinder op vellum, wat frantage erbij, klaar! Vandaag weer een warm dagje voor de boeg, dus dat wordt iets wits aan ;-) met een paar felgelakte neonroze nagels erbij ha ha ha! Help: ik moet ze nog lakken! En ik sta op het punt om naar klanten te gaan, oef! Gauw opschieten dus, bedankt voor het langskomen!

Today our new challenge begins @ Vintage Udfordring; we'd very much like to see your summer creations with butterflies! And of course these should be vintage style ;-) For my card I went with my favourite colours; in summer I love to wear white or turquoise/sea green. Furthermore, it was high time Odetta and I had a new swap again, so she set the theme: a summer card with flowers. I started off inking a white card with Glacier Ice from Color Box and stamped a whole series of stamps with all kinds of different colours (Memento Toffee Crunch, Versa Magic Magic Mauve/Turquoise Gem). A butterfly on vellum, a little touch of frantage, voilà! We've got a hot day ahead of us, so I'll be wearing something white today ;-) with a couple of matching neon pink nails, LOL! Oh dear: I still need to polish my nails! And I'm about to leave home to visit customers, argh! I've got to hurry, bye bye, thanks for watching!
