Beach Babe

Wanneer het juli is, begint voor mij de zomer pas écht! Vroeger mochten wij, m'n zus en ik, altijd een vakantieboek uitkiezen, je weet wel, zo ééntje waar allerlei zelfmaakdingen in stonden en kleurplaten e.d. En nu heb ik dus ook weer een vakantieboek in huis, maar dan voor grote meisjes zullen we maar zeggen ;-), die van de Flow! Hij is gaaf!! Dat wordt weer genieten!! En in juli zijn er ook altijd behoorlijk wat verjaardagen, dus dan is het weer tijd voor wat zomerse kaarten. Hier is er ééntje in vintage-stijl, ik vond die oude strandhuisjes altijd al zo leuk en heb er maar een kaart van gemaakt. Hier is het huisje nog dicht (ik heb het gemaakt van blauwe cardstock en er stroken crèmekleurige en rode cardstock op geplakt, lijkt het een beetje op planken zo.
For me summer always starts once it is July! My sister and I used to buy a "holiday book", you know, one of those books in which you could find all kinds of DIY, colouring pages etc. And last week I bought a new holiday book, this time for big girls ;-) and issued by Flow Magazine! It is so cool! Hours of happy reading!  July is also a month in which many people are celebrating their birthdays and so it's time for a summery card. Here's one in vintage style. I've always loved these old beach cottages and so I turned it into a card. The cottage is still closed here (I made it from blue cardstock and glued pieces of white and red cardstock on it, passing them off as beams).
